What we will do
The Alpujarra locates itself in the northern part of the Natural and National Park of Sierra Nevada, situated between the provinces of Almería and Granada. This is a place chosen by a multitude of civilisations that decided to settle on it thanks to its natural beauty. The culture of water, joined together with the development of agriculture have made this territory a unique place that left their marks.
In Alpujarra of Almería we find a marked contrast between the desert and the mountains that go up the course of the river Andarax, covering everything with green progressively. This river was navigable not long ago, now it covers up underground in the famous ravines to reach the sea of Almería City. The summits and protected space of Sierra Nevada are home to a unique biodiversity in the Iberian Peninsula, with up 65 exclusive species and 175 Iberian endemic species. To sum up, a unique guided trip where we combine the best of Almería’s culture and nature.
On this day trip we offer you the commodity to discover this natural place from your home. Your personal guide, your private transport and your companions. You choose the rate and the activity.
We recommend the use of comfortable shoes to walk, as well as clothing appropriate to the weather and the time of the year. In this way, it is important to bring water or some hydrating drinks as well as sun protection and some snacks if you wish.
